Four members of Kuwait’s parliament have submitted a suggestion earlier this morning to grant retirement salaries for Bedoon soldiers who took part of the liberation war in 1991. Musalam Al-Barrak, Mohammed Al-Khalifah, Khaled Al-Tahoos, and Ali Al-Daqbasi suggested that a 1991 Bedoon soldier should get 75% of his last regular salary plus the social bonus and the bonus for his children if the soldier served the army for less than 20 years, and 85% if his service is over 20 years long.
