According to Al-Qabas ┬ánewspaper, the defense ministry has decided to let go of some Bedoon soldiers. Since the 1991 Iraqi invasion, Kuwait hasn’t employed any Bedoon soldiers which means all those who are about to get fired will be soldiers who served the country for over 22 years. The head of Itijahat think tank in Kuwait said this decision is wrong and risking national security. He said the region is going through hard times and this is not the right time to let go of those who served the country for 30 countries or so.
