3 Bedoon activists remain in detention

[Head of the Kuwaiti-Bedoon committee Ahmed Al-Tamimi is still detained]

After bailing out the 5 underage boys on Monday, 18 Bedoon protesters (including a Kuwaiti activist Hussain Al-Khaldi) and 8 Bedoon activists (including Kuwaiti activist Abdullah Fairooz) have been bailed out yesterday. Three activists, however, remain in jail as the judge renewed their period of detention without stating reasons and despite the new detention law passed by the parliament before it was dissolved. The three activists are the head of the Kuwaiti-Bedoon committee Ahmed Al-Tamimi and his vice Ali Al-Enizi, and Bedoon activist Yousef Al-Aithy. After being summoned with others last week, the 3 activists were arrested with charges of illegal protesting for organizing and attending the 2nd of October protest in Taimaa which was on the international day for non-violence.
